Why do you need a location survey before giving me a quote?

We need you to create a House Location Drawing so that we can reliably obtain and confirm basic information about your property before giving you a quote. Your House Location Drawing shows the location of physical improvements in relation to the property lines and the relationship to adjoining properties. We require this drawing for any update to your home that would change its footprint. Click here for examples House Location Drawing.

What areas do you work in?

Lynch Design | Build serves locations throughout Maryland, most notably Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Cecil County, Howard County and Anne Arundel County. If you are in need of service and are located outside of our area, give us a call!

What kind of projects do you work on?

Our team is skilled in various luxury home projects including whole-house remodels, new builds, outdoor remodels, and home additions. We will also accommodate your grand vision for a new kitchen, bathroom, master suite, or specialty project.

Will you work with my architect or interior designer?

The Lynch team has extensive experience partnering with local interior designers and architects on residential projects. As design-build specialists, our work is intrinsically connected to the architecture and interior design or your project as a whole. In our initial consultation about your home project, please share with us the architect and/or interior designer you are working with so we can discuss the possibility of a successful collaboration.

How do you approach creating project timelines and goals?

The Lynch team takes a hands-on approach to plan your home project. We will help guide our clients through the planning process with thorough discussion and meticulous attention to detail. We start by creating a Project Profile Sheet and conducting an initial site visit to ensure our team and the client are on the same page. We then proceed with the creation and approval of the budget estimate so our clients don’t run into any surprises down the road. Who completes the work?

As a design-build firm, we are uniquely positioned to handle every aspect of your project from start to finish. We oversee the entire design and construction process of your project. Our skilled in-house carpenters, have years of experience making homeowners’ dreams come true. In addition to our skilled team of doers, you will be assigned a project manager who will keep you in the loop on the project timeline, scope and be your go-to point of contact. They will be your go-to point of contact for any questions you may have.
