We completed this project on behalf of the client’s mother, who wished to make her home more accessible and livable as she aged. As Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS), we knew their current space had accessibility issues and took the necessary steps to ensure the home was safe and catered to mobility.
This polished and luminous bathroom remodel is a clean slate for the homeowners. The monochrome color palette is calm and pleasing to the eyes, removing mental clutter after a long and busy day at work. The deep metal fixtures in the shower help tie in the dark vanity cabinetry that helps ground the rest of the room, which is light and bright.
Our team installed a custom, walk-in shower with a wet floor for easy access. With the shower curb removed, our client could shower without the fear of tripping over a curb. The job was completed quickly and efficiently so that the client could feel safe in her home. Not only does this space comply with accessibility standards, but it’s bright and fresh aesthetic feels like a clean slate. Now the family can trust that their loved one will be safe and comfortable in her new bathroom.
